In Western movies, the shotgun man is a character who is often portrayed as a protector or enforcer. He is typically armed with a shotgun – a powerful and versatile weapon that can be used for both close-range and long-range combat. The shotgun man is often depicted as a lone figure who is skilled with his weapon and unafraid to use it to defend himself or others.
Some interesting facts about the shotgun man archetype include:
- Shotguns were a popular weapon among Western settlers and cowboys because of their effectiveness at close range and their ability to take down large animals.
- One of the most famous shotgun-wielding characters in Western movie history is the character played by John Wayne in the movie “Stagecoach.” Wayne’s character, Ringo Kid, uses his shotgun to defend a group of passengers on a dangerous stagecoach ride.
- Another famous shotgun man in Western movies is the character played by Clint Eastwood in the movie “Unforgiven.” Eastwood’s character, William Munny, is a retired gunslinger who takes up his shotgun once again to seek revenge.
- The shotgun man archetype has influenced other genres of movies and video games as well. For example, the character of Samus Aran in the Metroid video game series is often depicted wielding a powerful shotgun-like weapon called the “Charge Beam.”

3D resin is brittle, even if we use a mixture than makes it more flexible. However it cannot be compared with the normal plastic that is used for example Warhammer, Marx or Conte miniatures. Handle the 3D prints with care, a fall can break them. Glue info here.
