The fisherman, or fish monger (?) has an impressive, defiant pose like with both hands on hips saying: "My fish is fresh!". And yes, you can even see every single fin of his catch (well in 1:30 scale). However, this scenery is going to be a wonderful part of a big medieval market place I am dreaming of.
