In ancient Egypt, guards were an important part of society, responsible for maintaining order and protecting the pharaoh and his family. Guards with spears were a common sight in the royal palace and other important buildings. Here are some interesting facts about ancient Egyptian guards with spears:
- Guards with spears were part of the pharaoh’s personal guard, known as the Medjay. They were responsible for protecting the pharaoh and his family from threats both internal and external.
- The Medjay were highly trained and skilled warriors, and were chosen for their strength, agility, and bravery. They would undergo rigorous training, including martial arts and weapons training, to ensure that they were capable of defending the pharaoh and his family at all times.
- Guards with spears were often stationed at the entrances to important buildings, such as the royal palace and temples. They would be responsible for checking the credentials of visitors and ensuring that only authorized personnel were allowed inside.
- The spears used by guards were typically made of wood or metal, and were designed for both thrusting and throwing. Guards would be skilled in both techniques, allowing them to quickly and effectively deal with any threats that arose.
- Guards with spears were often accompanied by other members of the Medjay, including archers and charioteers. This allowed them to work together to protect the pharaoh and his family from a variety of threats.
- Guards with spears were highly respected members of society, and their work was considered vital to the safety and well-being of the pharaoh and his family. They were often rewarded with land, property, and other valuable goods for their service.
- The role of guards with spears was not limited to the royal palace. Guards were also stationed at important buildings and monuments throughout Egypt, including temples and tombs. They would be responsible for protecting these structures from theft and vandalism, as well as from potential threats to the pharaoh’s power.

Due to the inherit nature of 3D printing the miniatures might contain imperfections and could require additional cleanup where the support have been; use sand paper or green putty for example. Print layers will sometimes be visable.
3D resin is brittle, even if we use a mixture than makes it more flexible. However it cannot be compared with the normal plastic that is used for example Warhammer, Marx or Conte miniatures. Handle the 3D prints with care, a fall can break them. Glue info here.
